Two weeks out!
It’s hard to believe how close I am to stepping on stage for my very first competition. What’s even crazier is that these last few days, I have actually felt more energised!
My calories are still sitting under 1,000 a day, cardio is 45 minutes daily, and I’m clocking in 15,000 steps - so technically, I should be dragging myself around. But somehow, it feels like my body has clicked into a new gear. The last few days have reminded me of that feeling you get during a water fast - when your energy becomes steady, your mind sharpens, and you feel strangely light and focused.
Today was leg day, and for once, I actually enjoyed it. That’s saying something, especially considering I’m still suffering with my knee injury. But the pump, the focus, the sense of purpose - it all came together. Every rep felt like a step closer to that stage.
I know this next stretch will test me mentally and physically, but the excitement is kicking in hard.
Next week is peak week, and I can’t wait to fine-tune everything - the posing, the conditioning, and the final push toward bringing my best package to the stage.
It’s surreal to think about how far I’ve come - the discipline, the hunger, the early mornings and sometimes late nights (9pm is usually my bed time!)
Every bit of it is paying off now and the nerves are slowly turning into excitement!
Two weeks today. Let’s finish this. 💪🏼🔥
